Louis S. Schafer, Ed.S.
Louis S. Schafer, partner and Lead Grant Developer, has over 28 years of experience collaborating with school districts and nonprofit agencies throughout the country to successfully develop, write, and submit grants to foundations, corporations, private entities, and state and federal agencies. With thirteen years as a classroom teacher and a dozen more as a school administrator, he has a firm understanding of both essential program, curriculum, and professional development needs in schools. Finally, with both a Masters degree and Educational Specialist degree in Community Education from Central Michigan University, he is highly qualified to comprehend "best practices" in the world of education and non-profits. Anita Schafer
Anita Schafer, partner and Client Services Director, has over 14 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations, small businesses, publishing firms, architects, engineers, doctors, dentists and ad agencies to successfully develop marketing strategies and create and lay out promotional materials of all types. A self-professed "Jane-of-all-trades", Anita coordinates all of the technology efforts of Schoolhouse Partners and GrantSelect in addition to writing the occasional grant proposal and enlightening the general public on the services of the firm. "I like to roll my sleeves up and get right to it!" She has both education and experience working with:
