Latest book release: Funding Sources for K-12 Education

The eighth edition of the grants directory makes it back to print after a five year hiatus. Funding Sources for K-12 Education continues to list funding programs from education sponsors of all kinds–family, private and community foundations, professional associations, corporations, as well as federal, state and local governments.

According to the Foundation Center, foundation giving to education programs in 2007 totaled $2.3 billion. And, this figure does not take into account smaller classroom grants (under $10,000) which can make just as much a difference as larger grants.

The directory is the most comprehensive compilation of grant programs available to K-12 education programs. Additionally, grants for adult education and alternative education have been included, recognizing the need for quality education programs for all members of a community.

Reasonably priced at $79.95, the directory can be purchased directly from Schoolhouse Partners, from retail outlets such as Barnes and Noble and Amazon.com, as well as from wholesalers.
